Do You Need Coating Sealant for Eyelash Extensions? The Lash Professional

Do You Need Coating Sealant for Eyelash Extensions?

Do you need coating sealant for eyelash extensions?

February 18, 2021 by The Lash Professional.

Look at you! You're at the top of your lash game, and yet you never hesitate to continue your education in the eyelash extension field. There are still some things you're unclear about, particularly when it comes to caring for your clients' lashes. For instance, once lash extensions have been applied, what is the best way to help those lashes stay attached to your clients’ natural lashes strongly and for as long as possible?

On that topic, lash artists are usually taught that a lash extension sealant is an absolutely necessary part of the lash extension process. An eyelash extension sealer is basically to lash extensions what a topcoat is to nail polish. There is a range of products out there that claim to do this the best and most effectively. You have to be careful with lash extension sealants, though –– you can't just put on anything on those beauties!

Why You're Taught To Use a Lash Extension Sealant

The goal with sealants is to provide an eyelash extension protective coating without damaging all of the work you've put into applying those lashes. Since anything with oil in it is not good for eyelash extensions, lash extension sealants should be water-soluble. Above all, you don't want any ingredients that will weaken the glue.

How Eyelash Extension Sealer Is Applied

Now, on to the nitty gritty details, such as applying lash extension sealant to eyelash extensions.

How lash extension sealant is applied is pretty straightforward; depending on the product, there may be a brush you use that will remind you of a nail polish or mascara brush. It is simply applied as directed. But, there's a catch: You can't usually apply lash extension sealant right away.

There's a Waiting Period

Clients should wait a few days to a week after the lash extensions have been done to allow the adhesive to fully dry/cure, which may cause a bit of anxiety; what if something happens to their lashes in the meantime? You can ease the anxiety and speed up or even replace the process with a mister, which is an effective means of curing or "sealing" eyelash extensions quickly.

More on that, coming up!

An Alternative To Lash Extension Sealers

Your clients know that having eyelash extension sealer on their lashes helps their extensions last longer, and eliminates any need to come in too soon after their initial appointment for a fill. They're happy, as this can save them time and money. While the use of lash extension sealant can indeed give your clients peace of mind, what they may not like is the idea of waiting 24 to 48 hours (or longer) to be able to apply it.

A Different Way

Why do they have to wait? What if there were a different way? Well, the good news is, there is another way.

Rather than waiting several days to apply lash extension sealant infused with a whole bunch of different ingredients, you can achieve the same results for your clients in a wholly natural way. The Lash Professional can show youwhat exactly to use, andhow to use it. Let's get to it!

Without a doubt, a dedicated lash extension sealant can be a good investment, but because you can't usually apply it right away, it's not really efficient. Again, anything can happen between the initial application of lashes and the first application of sealer. Why take a chance? The wait is, obviously, not ideal.

Get Yourself a Nano Mister

You can and should get the ball rolling on prolonging the life of your clients' lash extensions (which will make them infinitely more satisfied with your services) by starting to seal them at the end of their appointment with the use of natural, distilled water froma nano mister.

A nano mister, like this one from The Lash Professional, helps the adhesive on your clients' eyelash extensions cure faster. It sprays just the right amount of mist, for just the right amount of time. This ensures the interaction of the hydrogen in the water with the active ingredient in eyelash extension glue, and the nano mister's automatic timer prevents the spread of too much moisture.

In the event your clients still want to use a lash extension sealant, they can do it after you've usedthe nano mister; after all, you've already cut down the curing time! And, there's every chance that the use of the nano mister will provide more than enough sealing strength to last your clients.

Seal the Deal On a Nano Mister from The Lash Pro!

As we've seen, there are new and innovative ways to cure and seal your clients' eyelash extensions without having to wait too long. The Lash Professional has the goods that can help you cure the adhesive on your clients' eyelash extensions effectively and naturally.

Yes, The Lash Pro has everything you need –– from lash packs, gel pads, glue, and (of course) an all-natural eyelash extension "sealer" in the form ofthe nano mister –– to ensure the longevity and beauty of your clients' lashes. Whether you need to stock up on lash packs, or are intrigued about the nano mister, visit and shop at The Lash Professional today!

Brown Eyelash Extensions: Facts, Application Tips & More

Brown Eyelash Extensions: Facts, Application Tips & More

Brown Eyelash Extensions: Facts, Application Tips & More

February 18, 2021 by The Lash Professional.

As a lash artist, you know just how important it is to offer a wide array of natural brown eyelash extensions so you can grace the looks of any client that walks through your doors. However, finding the right brown eyelash extensions for your clients and mastering the perfect application is easier said than done! Luckily, we’ve compiled the essential facts you need to know about applying flawless dark brown lashes so you can perfect every style.

Why Choose Brown Eyelash Extensions?

Let’s start with the basics — why would a client want brown eyelash extensions vs. black extensions? Well, brown eyelash extensions are actually trending right now! These lashes have become more than a little popular with those in search of a more natural look. Let’s take a closer peek at who is likely to choose brown eyelash extensions over any other style, shall we?

Lighter skin tones. Incredibly reliable and capable of being paired with many different outfits, natural brown eyelash extensions are particularly popular with those who have lighter skin tones. These lashes don’t stand out quite as much against a more porcelain complexion, letting boss babes flaunt longer lashes without risking an unnatural look. Not to mention, those who have lighter skin tones may find that natural brown eyelash extensions are simply easier to pair with the rest of their makeup regime.

Blondes and redheads. This more natural style is highly attractive to redheads and blondes, too! That’s right — those with lighter hair colors often find that brown lash extensions accentuate their positive features and lead to dazzling looks that impress all around.

First-timers. And, of course, dark brown lashes are also perfect for newcomers who are trying out eyelash extensions for the first time! They’re easier to apply and maintain than more colorful and flashy lashes. They also don’t stand out quite as much as black lashes, making them ideal for those unsure if lash extensions are the best fit for their face.

Preparing for Application of Brown Lash Extensions

Ready to help others achieve a more natural look? These brown eyelash extensions come in a wide variety of lengths and shades for your consideration.

When appraising different brown eyelash extensions, consider that having many lash options of different lengths will help you appeal to a greater array of clients. The diameter of  your dark brown lashes may factor into their beauty needs, too. Curly brown eyelash extensions can be found to help those with naturally mischievous lashes that refuse to stay straight for easy application.

Taking preventative care measures to ensure the longevity of your brown eyelash extensions is an essential part of maintaining gorgeous looks. After selecting the natural brown eyelash extensions that meet your needs, remember the application tips highlighted below.

Applying Brown Eyelash Extensions

You need steady hands to apply your lashes with care. Luckily, practice makes perfect! As you accumulate brown lash extensions of different shades and lengths, you may need to learn unique approaches for proper application.

But how do you know when to apply different shades? Well, picking the same tone of standard brown lashes can achieve a beautiful natural look for your clients, especially for the more mature clientele.

A uniform tone isn’t required, though, and you can easily mix some brown tones into your black eyelash extensions to give them a subtle brown tinge. A hybrid brown made from different shades mixes the best of both worlds and may create a unique texture for your brown eyelash extensions.

Always, always remember to use clear lash glue when applying your brown eyelash extensions. Less is also definitely more when using glue to affix your brown lash extensions. You know as well as we do that it’s easy to overdo it if you’re not careful in your application, so lean on the light side.

Brown eyelash extensions are often favored because of their natural look, so ensure your mapping reflects this. Choosing a few different lengths and spreading them throughout the set will ensure that your brown eyelash extensions blend in perfectly.

And while those with deep-set eyes may need longer brown eyelash extensions for easier application, those who have hooded eyes may find shorter length lashes are easier to apply. Understanding what lengths to use on different eye types will help you avoid the annoying experience of the edges pinging upwards.

Aftercare for Your Brown Eyelash Extensions

We absolutely cannot forget about aftercare! Nothing makes your lashes last longer than taking proper care of them. And even the most basic aftercare for eyelash extensions will go a long way toward preserving your valuable beauty products that can be expensive to replace, too.

Making changes to your beauty routine, like avoiding oils at all costs, can help ensure your lashes aren’t drenched with liquids that strip them of their beauty and staying power. Carefully wash around your lashes to avoid saturating them in too much liquid — we promise your eyelash extensions don’t need as much hydration as you do, babe!

Are you using a blowdryer for your bangs? Make sure you don’t accidentally fry your brown eyelash extensions by mistake when attending to your other beauty needs. High heat on your eyes can also cause seeing problems and should be avoided for personal safety.

Keeping your extensions clean and gingerly brushing your dark brown lashes after you’ve applied them are the most important steps you can take to enhance your beauty. Brown eyelash extensions are generally easier to maintain than colorful ones, as they don’t always need to be kept as dry as more colorful lashes.

There you have it — brown eyelash extensions! Want to learn more about how to apply these stunning extensions? The Lash Professional has your back, girl. We offer both live and online courses that will teach you all you need to know about creating beautiful lash looks for every client. And don’t forget to stock up on supplies from our lash shop so you never run out of brown or black options!

Brown vs Black Eyelash Extensions: How to Choose

Brown vs Black Eyelash Extensions: How to Choose

Brown vs Black Eyelash Extensions: How to Choose

February 18, 2022 by The Lash Professional.

Eyelash extensions are a great way to enhance natural lashes for any reason someone wants, as often as they want. Perhaps you want to draw more attention to your gorgeous eyes or get a more glamorous look for the summer season. No matter the case, eyelash extensions are the way to go!

There’s just one problem that you may run into when choosing eyelash extensions — the color. A variety of retail stores carry the simple black color in bulk, but are eyelash extensions always black?

Many people think that eyelash extensions are available in only one color, but that's not the case, babe. While black lashes are more common, there are actually lashes available in a variety of colors. And, amongst all these, brown eyelash extensions have really grown in popularity for their natural appearance.

What Are Brown Eyelash Extensions?

So, what exactly are brown eyelash extensions? The main obvious difference between brown vs. black eyelash extensions is that brown eyelash extensions are extensions that are dyed brown. But, hang on, why would people get brown eyelash extensions instead of black?

Well, there are many reasons why someone might choose brown over black eyelash extensions. On a basic level, people get brown eyelash extensions for the same reasons they might get black or any other color of eyelash extensions: They want fuller, more luxurious lashes.

But, the reasons they choose brown eyelash extensions in particular over black lashes may be more varied. For instance, it could possibly be related to having a more natural look, achieving a more unique look, or might even just boil down to personal preference. Let's take a look at why some people might go with brown in the brown vs. black eyelash extensions debate.

Why Do People Get Brown Eyelash Extensions?

Black lashes will definitely make anyone's eyes pop, but they're still not necessarily right for everyone. Take, for instance, those with lighter hair colors or skin tones. Black lash extensions can, honestly, look a bit out of place on people with lighter hair or fairer skin. For such people, it doesn't really make sense to get black eyelash extensions which they will then color with mascara.

Seriously, if you're a blonde or a redhead, why bother with putting on mascara to change your eyelash color? Heck, why burden yourself with worrying about whether your mascara is oil-based or water-based? (Hint: you want the latter, not the former!) The easiest workaround would be to get brown eyelash extensions! There are different shades of brown eyelash extensions and you can find ones you really like.

And while brown eyelash extensions can give people with lighter skin tones or hair a more natural look than possible with black eyelash extensions, that isn't the only reason to get them.

Even those with darker hair may want to get brown eyelash extensions to have an understated lash look. Something that enhances their natural beauty without being too dramatic for their taste.

The bottom line is, brown eyelash extensions are popular for those who want eyelash extensions to look more natural for them. They're also great for people who want to change the color of their lashes without using makeup. They can also be used as an alternative to mascara, other makeup, or lash products that require regular upkeep and maintenance.

What About Black Eyelash Extensions?

A lot has been said about brown eyelash extensions up to now, but let's face it: black eyelash extensions offer a classic look, so people never need to feel pressured to get eyelash extensions of any other color. Without a doubt, black eyelash extensions are a great way to add volume and glamour to your eyes without resorting to other colors that might not be as complimentary.

Those with darker hair will generally go for black eyelash extensions, simply because they look more natural on them. However, there will be cases when darker shades of brown eyelash extensions will work if someone's brown hair is so dark brown that no one can tell the difference between it and black hair!

Black eyelash extensions may seem simple, but they give a dramatic look all on their own. Of course, if someone does want to add color to their eyelash extensions for an even greater dramatic effect, they can just use a water-based mascara on their black eyelash extensions whenever they want!

If you think about it, thanks to the availability and use of mascara, black eyelash extensions can be incredibly versatile, giving you one look one day and another look the next!

Brown vs. Black Eyelash Extensions, Which Will it Be?

When it comes to choosing between brown vs. black eyelash extensions, hair color, skin tone, and desired look all wrestle for consideration. For some, brown lashes are more natural and black lashes are more dramatic; for others, black lashes are more natural, and brown lashes are more dramatic.

Whichever way you or your clients go when it comes to brown vs. black eyelash extensions, The Lash Professional is the place to go to stock up on all your lash necessities for eyelash extensions, from lash packs to gel eye pads to training courses. Eye Pads For Eyelash Extensions: Details, Costs, and Reviews - The Lash Professional

Eye Pads For Eyelash Extensions: Details, Costs, and Reviews - The Lash Professional

Eye Pads For Eyelash Extensions: Details, Costs, and Reviews

February 18, 2021 by The Lash Professional.

We understand that the eyelash extension process can be time-consuming! Both you and your client should block out a good hour and a half or more for quality lashes. And since you’ll be spending so much time together, you really need to put some thought into keeping your clients comfortable as you apply their extensions.

While your clients just need to show up, there are several tools you need to have with you before you can start applying eyelash extensions. Though all of the items in your lash toolkitcan play a role in keeping your clients happy and comfortable, there is one item above all that may be deemed essential: eye pads for lash extensions. It’s time to learn about eye pads and why you should always, always stay supplied with them!

What Are Eye Pads for Lash Extensions?

Eye pads are used during the eyelash extension process to keep the upper eyelashes separated from the lower eyelashes. Without them, the natural eyelashes below can mix with the extensions above.

They’re a small addition to the process that fit around the lower part of the eye, sitting on the lower lashes and keeping them out of the way. Eye pads for eyelash extensions can be made out of a variety of materials, but we’ve recently seen explosive growth in the use of eye pads made specifically for sensitive skin. We’ll dive deeper into allergic reactions and why eye pads are an ideal solution a little later. For now, let’s get into the difference between lash extension eye pads and tape!

What Is the Difference Between Eye Pads and Eyelash Extension Tape?

Some lash artists will use medical-grade eyelash extension tape to keep the lower eyelids away from the upper ones. This sort of eyelash extension tape can be an effective way to isolate the lower eyelashes, but it might not be as comfortable for your clients as gel eye pads. To make the best use of all the tools in your eyelash extension kit, using under-eye pads for lash extensions combined with tape can be a reliable, comfortable method for clients.

How Are Eye Pads for Eyelash Extensions Used?

The last thing you want to happen during the process is gluing the eyelash extension and natural eyelashes together! That’s why isolation is absolutely essential. Under-eye pads for lash extensions are placed on top of the lower eyelashes to keep this from happening. Eye pads for lash extensions also help protect the lower parts of the eye from the fumes of eyelash extension glue and the tools used to apply eyelash extensions.

Where To Buy Eye Pads for Lash Extensions?

Beauty supply stores and Amazon have many different kinds of eye pads for eyelash extensions for sale. The quality of the under-eye pads for lash extensions that you find from these sources cannot be guaranteed, though. You want to be sure that the eye pads you buy and use are of the best quality possible.  Here at The Lash Professional, we offer high-quality eye pads for eyelash extensions! You can trust that your client's lashes will be protected and securely in place using our eye pads.

How Much Do Eye Pads for Eyelash Extensions Cost?

Depending on where you buy them from, a single package of eye pads for lash extensions can cost anywhere from $9 to $15 or more. The price you pay will largely depend on the number of eye pads that you order, how many eye pads for lash extensions are in a pack and their overall quality. Stock up on The Lash Professional’s eye pads for just $10 for a pack of 10 to $35 for a pack of 50!

What if Clients are Allergic to Eye Pads for Eyelash Extensions?

You definitely want to avoid using eyelash pads that may spark an allergic reaction in your clients. Of course, you may not know beforehand whether or not certain eye pads for lash extensions will cause an allergic reaction or even if eye pads are the primary cause of an allergic reaction during an eyelash extension. Sometimes, irritation can be a natural reaction to fumes or glue. At other times, seasonal allergies need to be taken into account.

So, what can you do? You should play it safe and invest in hypoallergenic eye pads! These may include latex-free eye pads to keep clients’ eyes comfortable or bio-gel eye pads for a gentler alternative on people who have sensitive skin or allergies. You still want to be wary of an allergic reaction to gel eye pads, so always conduct a patch test before application.

Stock Up on Eye Pads for Lash Extensions

You should always have a ready supply of eye pads for your eyelash extensions on hand! Be sure to know just the place to stock up and keep your lashing studio prepped at all times. The Lash Professional has a variety of hydrogel eye pads for lash extensions you can add to your cart so you’re always ready to go! These gel eye pads will ensure an easy application for you and a comfortable experience for your client. They’re an essential part of any lash artist’s tool kit.

Rather than to wait until you’re almost out of eye pads for lash extensions to buy more, wouldn’t it be better to order some now? Let The Lash Professional be your supplier for lash lift eye pads and more!

13 Types of Eyelash Extensions - The Lash Professional

      13 Types of Eyelash Extensions

November 9, 2018 by The Lash Professional.

Lashing is not easy. Between managing clientele, committing the different types of eyelash extensions to memory, to adapting in an ever-changing industry, you deserve a pat on the back (and maybe a glass of champagne, or five). Especially when first starting out as a lash technician, even something as simple as choosing the best type of lash is daunting. After all, not all eyelash extensions are created equal! In fact, each of the unique types of eyelash extensions comes with its own specific guidelines.

With that being said, matching your client's lashes with the proper extension is an integral part of the process. In fact, if the wrong shape is chosen, you risk your client's lashes falling out prematurely. And trust us – no one wants to start off their lash career with an unfortunate gallery of bad reviews. So, regardless of your client's eyelash shape or whether they prefer "daring and bold" or "as natural as possible", there are more than enough types of eyelash extensions to get the job done right.

      1. J Curl

Let's start with the rare, but definitely not forgotten, J Curl. J Curl extensions are perfect for any ladies wanting natural-looking, lengthy lashes rather than a dramatic, open eye look. These lovely lashes will appear longer than others of the same length due to a delayed curl on the lash. While best used on clients with straight lashes, J Curl lashes are not encouraged for clients with downward facing lashes.

      2. B Curl

B Curl lashes are similar to J Curl, but with a little more "va-va-voom". For clients requesting a natural, "I woke up like this" look, B Curl lashes will do just that. However, it is important to note that, similar to the J Curl, B Curl lashes add more length than curl. Once again, this lash is not recommended for ladies with downward facing lashes.

      3. C Curl

Now, onto crowd favorite – the C Curl! C Curl lashes bring the trifecta - volume, length, and curl. Generally speaking, these lashes can be used on most any eye, excluding a hooded eye or very straight lashes. Rather, classic C Curl lashes are best for clients with a slight curl in their natural lash and ladies looking for a perfect, curled look.

      4. CC Curl

Where "girl next door" meets "girls night out", you will find the CC curl. This lovely lash mixes all the best qualities of the C curl and D curl and delivers a popular choice for any client requesting "subtle, yet dramatic". CC curl lashes are used often for volume applications and giving lashes a flawless pick-me-up.

      5. D Curl

For a look that catches stares and delivers them back, we recommend D curl all the way. These curly lashes will create a doll-like appearance that opens up the eye. Optimally, D curl lashes should be used on a client with downturned eyes or a client looking for a dramatic look. The Classic D Curl is a fan favorite for a reason!

      6. L Curl

What do you get when you mix the oh-so-popular C Curl with a flat base? Of course, we're talking about L Curl lashes. L Curl lashes are our #1 choice for any client with inset or hooded eyes. With a curious shape that resembles an "L", it's hard not to love the graceful lift of this unique lash.

      7. L+ Curl

Maximum lift, maximum drama. Similar to the L Curl, the L+ Curl is perfect for clients with downward-pointing lashes or hooded eyes. L+ lashes give the appearance of curled lashes but without all of the effort.

And now, let's get creative. Although black lashes are by far the most popular, nothing says "dramatic" like a colored lash...

      8. Brown Eyelash Extensions

Brown lashes bring "natural" to the next level. They present a perfect alternative for any blonde or redhead who prefers natural tones. We recommend pairing brown and black lashes for a sultry, delicate look that will make your client's natural eye color POP!

      9. Green Eyelash Extensions

Where "bold" meets "earthy", you will find adventurous, green lashes. Forget about funky accessories and statement fashion pieces – green lashes add flair and personality to any day-to-day look. We recommend these trendsetters to those with green, hazel, or brown eyes.

      10. Purple Eyelash Extensions

For a dashing, fantasy look, purple lashes make any green or hazel eye stand out from the crowd. Go all-out purple for dramatic, fairytale lashes, or play it safe by combining with black lashes for vibrant, yet subtle tones.

      11. Blue Eyelash Extensions

Regal and striking, blue lashes add an unexpected touch of romance. When paired with black lashes, the blue hints of color create a rich depth and intrigue to any client's natural eye color, especially those with amber, blue, or brown eyes.

      12. Red Eyelash Extensions

Taking sexy and bold to the next level, red lashes make a daring statement. This unexpected pop of color is perfect for any fearless woman daring enough to create waves and take charge.

      13. Rainbow Eyelash Extensions

Definitely not for the faint of heart, rainbow eyelash extensions do all of the talking. For a little extra dimension, you absolutely cannot go wrong with a dash of color.

What is the Best Lash Extension Brand?

May 4, 2017 by The Lash Professional.

Hi. Hello. I’m so happy to, well kind of, meet you. Oh, maybe I should tell you my name. Let’s start this again; Hi, I’m Vanessa. Welcome to The Lash Professional.

My passion for lash extensions began in 2006. This lash journey started all because I was intrigued that I could save my friends precious time by simply having them switch from strip lashes to eyelash extensions.

My girlfriends and I would spend countless amounts of time trying to perfect the placement of those tricky lash strips. At times we thought we had found perfection in our application, but now looking back at photos, we weren’t even close.

During extensive research, probably while snacking, I came across eyelash extensions. What?! I could help my friends save time on their beauty routine by simply learning this super, duper, secret beauty service?! It wasn’t very popular during that time, so I naturally assumed it was a super, duper, secret beauty service. Anyway, goodbye lash strips, hello lash extensions.

I enrolled in beauty school and signed up for the very first eyelash extension course I could find. AND, I fell in love. I fell in love with lash extensions the first day of class. When I say fell in love, I mean that head over heels kind of love. The love that could be considered obsessive, but you label it as PASSION to make yourself feel better. I lashed, lashed, and lashed. It was all I could think about and all I could do.

My client list grew from my girlfriends, to girlfriends of girlfriends, to girlfriends of girlfriends of girlfriends. I quickly realized that not only was I able to save these women time, but I also was making them look and feel good. Their new, beautiful lash extensions made them feel pretty on the outside and our time together gave me an opportunity to make them feel pretty on the inside. I was hooked. Fine, now we can label it as an obsession. I was obsessed. This was my calling. I can make women feel good about their physical and inner being at the same exact time?! It doesn’t get better than that!!!Thank you lash extensions!

Because of lash extensions I have met the most fantastic women EVER. These women have changed my life in a tremendous way. Clients became close friends. Fellow lash artist became close friends. Actually, the label “close friends” doesn’t come close to doing our relationships justice. These women became my sisters. Yep, that’s it! SISTERS. We help each other get through the lows of life, celebrate the highs of life, promote each other, are kind to each other, accept each other, learn from each other and we love each other.

This passion, okay you’re right: obsession, was not just the best career choice; it was the best life lesson. Eyelash extensions taught me the value of sisterhood. Lash extensions made me rethink what society was teaching me and every women. Oh my gosh, we’re not here to be in competition with each other; we are here to lift each other, understand each other, and rise with each other. Yes, please.

Once I learned this life changing lesson, I wanted to share it with everyone! Why wouldn’t I?! I wanted other lash artist’s to be able to experience what I was feeling; to join the sisterhood movement. Well, it wasn’t a movement quite yet, but I knew, in my deepest heart, it would become one very, very soon. I strongly desired to spread the love that I was shown all day and everyday at “work”.

The Lash Professional was created in 2013 with a devotion to provide top quality lash extension products and extensive, detailed lash training all wrapped up in SISTERHOOD.

The Lash Professional works hard to stay true to that everyday. It’s who we are. It’s why we’re here. We, as a team, care about the women purchasing our eyelash extension products and work hard to create an uplifting, positive environment where they can learn how to apply perfected lash extensions. We are a team that spreads the lash sisterhood movement with a product and training line that makes every woman feel welcomed, accepted, and appreciated. The Lash Professional is not only a product and training line in the lash industry; we are the sisterhood movement. We are the ART and HEART of the lash industry.

I personally feel so grateful for the opportunity to spend my time with the most beautifully, unique women. I’m grateful to be able to spread love and kindness with these women. Everyday I’m honored to have lash artist all over this planet join our lash sisterhood. Our growing team are all so appreciative to have a platform in this industry that enables us to share this sisterhood love. Will you join the sisterhood movement?! LASH VIBES: TREND WATCH: COLOR LASH EXTENSIONS

Color lash extensions in stock! Here at The Lash Professional, we are LASH OBSESSED; constantly on the lookout for the newest & hottest trends in lashes. We love adding to our inventory. This gives our lash artists more variety to choose from, so they are able to create unique and beautiful lash masterpieces for their clients!

As lash extensions continue to gain popularity, and the lash industry continues to grow and flourish, we find that there is an increasing demand for more variety from both our clients and our fellow lash sisters.

Because of this, we are seeing a vast assortment of lengths, diameters, curls and now even COLORS emerging! With so many variations, the possibilities are endless!!

Just like with hair trends, we are noticing certain trends emerging in the lash world. More and more, clients are requesting the addition of color lash extensions. These lashes can create both subtle and dramatic effects! We predict that just as hair trends change over time, lash trends will follow suit.

While color lash extensions have been around since the onset of the lash craze, more and more options are becoming available in a variety of hues and diameters. This allows lash artists to create both subtle and dramatic looks! Whether it’s a pop of color to accent the eye, or a full color set, it’s finally possible to achieve any look that the heart desires.

When it comes to color lash extensions, natural hues and ombre lashes still tend to be the most popular.

Lashes that resemble genuine hair colors, can be used alone, or mixed in with black, to create a simple highlighted look. Ombre lashes, (lashes that start out black or dark brown at the base, and then transition into a lighter hue or color at the tip,) can be used on clients to achieve a faint colored set. Ombre lashes in darker colors, such as blues, purples and browns still tend to be the most popular among this type of lash. Both of these gorgeous looks use darker or more neutral colored lashes, to create subtle highlights, that are more noticeable when viewed up close, or in the sun.

Brighter and more vibrant colors can also be mixed in to achieve a more festive or fun look. Mixing in neon and/or pastel colors draws attention to the eye, creating a anything from a more subtle flirty look, to a more illuminated dramatic look. This will depend on amount of color used, and placement of the colored lashes throughout the lash line. Volume and/or classic colored extensions can be mixed randomly or placed strategically, depending on the look you wish to achieve. Using color this way creates a more dynamic and bold look, and helps to highlight eye color, or make the eyes “pop”.

As an additional bonus, lash artists can use color lash extensions as an add-on or up-sell to a traditional full set, charging more for the beautifully and artistically placed colored lashes.

Whether you are looking for a subtle or dramatic look, adding in a pop of color with color lash extensions can do just the trick!!
