Do I need to be a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician to take the training?
No, The Lash Professional does not require you to have a state beauty license. We do recommend that you check with the Department of Professional Licensing in your state to know what is required to professionally apply eyelash extensions in your area.
How long does it take to complete the course?
The course can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you like. This course was created with flexibility in mind.
Who are the trainers?
This retention lash training was created by a team of master lash artists. These artists combined their years of experience and expertise to create an in-depth curriculum that goes over every detail of retention. Along with guiding you during your training, our team of experienced trainers provide feedback on assignments, quizzes and the final model.
What is the best way to practice?
We recommend practicing on models are often as possible. The next best thing to models is a mannequin head.
Will I need to practice on a live model?
Yes! To receive your retention lash certificate, you will need to complete a full set of lashes on a model.
How do I earn my certificate?
We believe certificates should be awarded based on achievement, rather than for simply completing a class. For this reason, we ask you to complete a few steps in order to earn your certificate:
Complete the online program in full, including all quizzes and assignments.
Pass exams with a score of 80% or higher.
Complete the live model final.
Don't worry - we'll walk you through each step-in detail so that you have everything you need to receive your certificate. You can take the exams and live model final until you receive a passing score.
