How to: Clean Tweezers

Choose stainless steel tweezers with a basic design that can be completely cleaned.

Soap and water are your greatest friends for regular tweezer cleaning. Warm water and a liquid hand soap are recommended. Make a lather on your palms and lightly massage the tweezers between your hands. Pay special care to the tip and ensure the entire surface is clean. To eliminate any soap residue, rinse the tweezers under running water.

Submerge your tweezers in a Barbicide solution, making sure they are fully covered. Let them soak for 10 minutes. Avoid soaking for longer, as extended exposure can lead to corrosion. After 10 minutes, remove the tweezers and rinse them thoroughly with water to remove any leftover Barbicide.

After cleaning and disinfecting, it is critical to dry your tweezers properly. Wipe them down with a clean, dry towel to remove any moisture.
